I choose subjects that catch my attention. The way light falls, suggestive of a mood, which evokes a response. It’s that singular impression revealing the subject’s feelings. That is what interests me. I want to capture that fleeting moment. The resulting watercolor painting utilizes a pouring technique, done in a limited palette.  ~CW Stolle
